Are you starting a company in the healthcare space, or thinking of starting one? Do you want support in this process? Participate in ZAP!, the program that has successfully enabled 26 teams to get $50,000 customer discovery grants from the National Science Foundation!
What is ZAP?
ZAP! is based on the successful National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) methods of accelerating the translation of university research to the marketplace. If you complete ZAP!, you will be invited to IN-LA’s Technology Scouting Workshop, an opportunity to pitch to investors, and may move forward in the IN-LA process toward eligibility for a $50,000 NSF I-Corps grant.

Friday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: NRT-4444 (1441 Eastlake Ave.)
Registration is now open! Register online by Monday, August 13th. Participants must regist and attend BOTH sessions.

Who can participate in ZAP?
If you are working on any novel technology with some commercialization possibility healthcare space, you can participate! Professors may attend, and/or a grad student or postdoc working on the technology may attend.
