 cussion features renowned political thinker and author Yuval Levin on his 
 acclaimed book American Covenant: How the Constitution Unified Our Nation

 and reflect on the past\, present\, and future of the American idea\, we a
 re honored to welcome one of the nation's most influential voices on const
 itutional government and civic renewal. Dr. Levin's work challenges the in
 creasingly common assumption that the Constitution is the source of our po
 litical dysfunction. Instead\, he argues that our founding document offers
  a framework for navigating disagreement\, rebuilding trust\, and governin
 g together despite profound differences.\n\n \n\nAt a moment when politica
 l polarization often feels insurmountable\, Levin invites us to reconsider
  the Constitution not as a relic of the past\, but as a living structure c
 apable of helping Americans act together in common purpose. How can a deep
 ly divided society sustain self-government? What role should institutions 
 play in channeling disagreement productively? And what lessons from the co
 nstitutional system might help renew democratic life in the twenty-first c
 entury? These questions are at the heart of Levin's timely and thought-pro
 voking work.\n\n \n\nYuval Levin is Director of Social\, Cultural\, and Co
 nstitutional Studies at the American Enterprise Institute\, where he holds
  the Beth and Ravenel Curry Chair in Public Policy. He is the founder and 
 editor of National Affairs\, a senior editor at The New Atlantis\, a contr
 ibuting editor at National Review\, and the author of several influential 
 books on American political culture and institutions.\n\n \n\nThis event i
 s part of UNUM: Democracy Reignited\, a multi-year initiative exploring th
 e past\, present\, and future of the American experiment through conversat
