ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Shreya Ranganathan is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and senior Journalism student at USC Annenberg. Ranganathan fell in love with Hatha practices when she traveled to India for the first time, and they helped her find light in darker situations. Shreya’s philosophy is that yoga should be a practice for everyone, regardless of race, class, and other barriers that have historically prevented BIPOC communities from participating. Ranganathan believes yoga storytelling with the heart, the head, the mind, the spirit and the breath. Through a holistic and authentic approach, true to ancient scriptures such as Patanjali Yoga Sutras and The Bhagavad-Gita, she hopes to change the stigma surrounding yoga and assist her peers on their journeys of healing.
