Join us as seven finalists for the 2018 Wrigley Sustainability Prize present their environmental entrepreneurial concepts at a public pitch event.

This showcase is the culmination of weeks of work by the finalists, each of whom was selected earlier this semester by a committee of environmental experts and business leaders. In attendance will be potential investors, USC faculty and students, press, and others. First, second and third prize winners will be announced and receive funds to bring their ideas into reality.

Finalist Teams:

Vivotein - Raising black soldier fly larvae as high-protein animal feed while sustainably recycling food waste scraps

Blizzard - Saving money, energy, and time by using technology to manage stored food items in your refrigerator

SaniSolver - Addressing slum level sanitation with low cost waterless toilets and waste processing systems with anaerobic digestion

Apeiron - Using proprietary technology to retrofit power plants and supply clean power while producing valuable graphene byproduct

Black Box Desalination - combining 3D printed materials with portable membrane technology to provide a universal water purification solution

Can Grow Hydroponics - personal plant production systems that are easy, efficient, and sustainable
