DESCRIPTION:Step into the world of shadow puppetry with acclaimed filmmaker
  Olivia Peace. Peace draws inspiration from Walker's Testimony: Narrative 
 of a Negress Burdened by Good Intentions and Six Miles From Springfield\, 
 combining traditional techniques with modern storytelling. Gain a deeper u
 nderstanding of the history and cultural significance behind this ancient 
 art form and learn how to create shadow play through hands-on activities a
 nd demonstrations. For ages 15 & Up.\n\n \n\nOlivia Peace graduated from U
 SC and holds a master's degree in interactive media and games. Their thesi
 s project\, Against Reality\, is a room-scale interactive experience built
  using AI neural networks. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto Internat
 ional Film Festival and won the 2022 Student Academy Award. While still in
  their master's program\, Olivia's debut feature film\, TAHARA and premier
 ed with rave reviews at the 2020 Slamdance Film Festival. It won awards at
