ARTIST STATEMENT

Delicately Manipulated & Intimately Exploited is a collection of cathartic works born out of my ongoing obsession with modern smartphone technology and social networking services that interfere with our evolutionary need to physically and emotionally connect with others. Recognizing social bonding as a primal survival skill, these works ponder how cunning user interface and user experience design in our digital landscape may be abusing human biopsychology.
