 ed.\n\nApril 3rd:\n\nClaradina Soto\, PHD\n\nAssociate Professor of Clinic
 al Population and Public Health Sciences\n\nDr. Claradina Soto (Navajo/Jem
 ez Pueblo) is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Califor
 nia Keck School of Medicine in the Department of Population and Public Hea
 lth Sciences. She has over 20 years of partnering with American Indian and
  Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations in public health\, collaborating with u
 rban and Tribal communities in CA to reduce and prevent mental health disp
 arities\, cancer prevalence\, commercial tobacco use\, and substance use a
 nd opioid use disorders. She collaborates on several research projects fun
 ded by NIH/FDA\, Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program (TRDRP)\, Depart
 ment of Health Care Services\, and the Office of Health Equity. She teache
 s courses in the Master of Public Health and Health Promotion programs at 
 USC and mentors undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Soto is a longtim
 e advocate for the AI/AN communities and other priority populations to adv
 ance health equity and reduce health disparities.\n\n \n\n \n\nUpcoming Se
