Thursday, October 15 at 12:00pm

Virtual Event

This webinar is sponsored by the Pacific Southwest Region University Transportation Center (UTC) and the METRANS Transportation Center.

This NSF project is creating a Civil Infrastructure Systems Open Knowledge Network to address longstanding challenges by allowing integrated representation, access, and analysis of data from multiple sources. It aims to empower stakeholders and decision makers with data analytics and AI tools to access, integrate, and analyze civil infrastructure system data to improve construction, operation, and maintenance decision making.

There is no fee to attend this webinar.

This webinar will be given by Lucio Soibelman, a Dean’s Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Spatial Sciences Institute, and Chair of the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Viterbi School of Engineering, USC. His research centers on information technology for economic development and construction management, process integration during the development of large-scale engineering systems, information logistics, artificial intelligence, data mining, etc.
