 ion\, and intrigue where Cassian embarks on the path that is destined to t
 urn him into a rebel hero.\n\nThis event is presented as part of a series 
 of screenings and conversations that brings together writers and producers
  who have collaborated with SCA alumnus George Lucas to create one of the 
 most important expressions of global popular culture of all time. Founding
  Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Luis Moreno Ocampo a
 nd Joseph Campbell Endowed Chair in Cinematic Ethics Ted Braun examine how
  the Star Wars films and series created by George Lucas have explored\, ar
 ticulated\, and shaped global ideas of war\, justice\, and democracy in th
 e 21st century.\n\nGuest Bios:\n\nTony Gilroy (Creator\, Writer\, Executiv
 e Producer\, Showrunner) is the creator of Lucasfilm’s critically acclai
 med series ANDOR\, which premiered its second season on Disney+ in April 2
 025 and garnered 14 Emmy Award nominations including Gilroy’s two nomina
 tions in Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Original Music and Lyric
 s. The Peabody Award–winning first season premiered in 2022 and was nomi
 nated for eight Emmy Awards\, including Outstanding Drama Series.\n\nLuis 
 Moreno Ocampo was the Founding Chief Prosecutor of the new and permanent I
 nternational Criminal Court (2003–12). There are seven documentaries pre
 senting parts of his work at the ICC\, including Darfur Now and Kony 2012.
  Previously\, he had a critical role during the transition to democracy in
  Argentina. He was Deputy Prosecutor in the trial against the "Military Ju
 nta\," a case depicted in the Amazon production\, Argentina 1985\, a 2023 
 Academy Award nominee for Best International Feature Film and the 2023 Gol
 den Globe winner.\n\nWriter-director Ted Braun is a School of Cinematic Ar
 ts professor and the Joseph Campbell Endowed Chair in Cinematic Ethics. Hi
 s feature documentary\, ¡Viva Maestro!\, about conductor Gustavo Dudamel\
 , was nominated for the WGA award for best feature documentary of 2022 and
  is streaming on HBO MAX. Set against violence and unrest in Dudamel’s h
 ome of Venezuela the film is an exploration of art in a time of political 
 crisis. It’s his second film with Participant which co-financed his feat
 ure debut Darfur Now. Darfur Now was named one of 2007’s top five docume
 ntaries by the National Board of Review and the Broadcast Critics and won 
 the NAACP Image Award for best feature documentary and the International D
