Virtual Trojan Talk with College Possible, a national education non-profit, in Portland, Oregon.

We have over 30 AmeriCorps roles opening in August for recent University of Southern California graduates who are passionate about mentorship for students living on low incomes on their journey’s to, and through college.

Join our information session on March 24th to learn about our nonprofit, how you can join our movement toward educational equity, and start a career in public service! If you are interested in moving out of state after college, our opportunities may be a good fit for you as we have sites across the country.

During our information session you can hear from two of our current AmeriCorps members serving at our Oregon location who attended institutions outside of the state, and relocated to serve with our organization! In addition to Portland, Oregon we also have sites in Seattle, Washington; Chicago, Illinois; Omaha, Nebraska; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and St. Paul, Minnesota.

We are seeking candidates, of all majors and interests, who are passionate about supporting students on their journey to and through college as near-peer mentors. All levels of experience are welcome, as we utilize folks expertise and knowledge having recently gone through the college application process and reaching the incredible achievement of completing their own four-year college degree! We will provide comprehensive training on the rest!

Positions We Offer:

+ High School Coach: supporting high school students in the Greater Portland area, and across the state of Oregon

+ College Coach: supporting college students throughout their undergraduate experience who are attending schools across the country

+ CollegePoint Coach: supporting high achieving high school students across the country through virtual coaching on their journey through the admission process for selective colleges and universities

+ Community Partners Team (CPT): Planning events to support students, managing projects for our team, and doing outreach to the community
