  Innovation (DTI) department is a hands-on learning experience where inter
 ns are matched to meaningful and challenging projects within Research & De
 velopment\, Operations\, Global Commercial Operations\, Enterprise Enginee
 ring and Analytics\, or other DTI departments supporting different functio
 ns throughout Amgen. DTI interns fall under one of 4 roles: Software Engin
 eer Intern (software development\, configuration and design techniques)\, 
 Data Scientist Intern (extracting knowledge and insights from large volume
 s of data)\, Business Analyst Intern (translating business needs to system
  requirements) or Data Security Engineer Intern (operate data protection s
 ecurity technologies in a rapidly changing global security sector). When y
 ou participate in our Digital Technology & Innovation internship program\,
  you’ll gain valuable hands-on project experience under the guidance of 
 a DTI Manager\, receive competitive compensation\, take part in executive 
 networking events and social networking events\, participate in community
