The goal of the Translational Research Workshop is to help faculty, students, and postdoctoral fellows understand the process of translating basic research into clinical application. Each discussion leader/speaker will talk informally about their personal journey of getting their translational research project funded (by private foundations, DOD, NIH, CIRM, and other funding sources), and building a team of students/postdocs, clinicians, business, and law professionals. After their informal presentations, the discussion leaders/speakers will be available to answer questions.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
