"Transcriptional and Post-transcriptional Mechanisms that Drive Cell Diversification"
Dr. Cochella's lab studies mechanisms of gene regulation that are used during development for cell diversification. She will present two projects: the first on her lab's findings about how transcriptional information is integrated over time and the second on how post-transcriptional repression by microRNAs is used to define unique properties of specialized cells.
