The eukaryotic genome folds in 3D in a hierarchy of structures, including nucleosomes, chromatin fibers, loops, chromosomal domains (also called TADs), compartments and chromosome territories. I will describe our analysis of 3D genome regulation using Hi-C as well as super-resolution microscopy in single cells, which revealed structural features inaccessible to cell-population analysis.
