"Advanced Stem Cell Research Empowered By Biophotonics"
Although human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) offer advantages for modeling diseases and developing new therapeutic strategies, there are several obstacles to be resolved. Our group has adopted and repurposed the optogenetics approaches into hiPSC studies, which enabled us to revolutionize the hiPSC biomanufacturing and recapitulate key pathology of late-onset neurodegenerative diseases.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
