Six students, from two different schools, are brought together in a cross-school exchange initiative to complete a history fair project on Breaking Barriers. The students represent various identities (race, ethnicity, gender, etc.). After much debate, they decide they will tackle “systemic racism,” but instead of them breaking the barrier, the barrier breaks them.

This play is part of the USC School of Dramatic Arts' New Works Festival Year 2, presented in association with Latino Theatre Company.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
