About this Event
Free EventReducing school violence is a national imperative. Yet, too often, violence at schools and at related events only prompts sensationalized news coverage and intractable arguments.
To advance productive efforts, on October 24, 2018, the University of Southern California is presenting the National Safe Schools Digital Summit. The event will include three panel discussions with perspectives from: students affected by school violence; school security and public health experts; and journalists.
This event is being offered exclusively online and is free to view.
No advance registration is required. Each panel will conclude with a Q&A discussion, including questions sent by the audience via social media using the hashtag #USCSchoolSummit.
