Talk title: Tissue-specific enhancer-gene maps from multimodal single-cell data identify causal alleles and genes for complex traits
The Center for Genetic Epidemiology is hosting an in-person and virtual seminar with Saori Sakaue, MD, PhD (https://immunogenomics.hms.harvard.edu/people/saori-sakaue), candidate for Professor at The Center for Genetic Epidemiology at USC. Dr. Saori is an MD/PhD postdoctoral fellow within Dr. Soumya Raychaudhuri’s lab at Harvard Medical School and Broad Institute. Her current research focus is to devise integrative analytical methods with population-scale genetics and multi-modal single-cell genomics data to define causal mechanisms of autoimmune diseases.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
