Dr. Jordan Davis will discuss his research interests in the intersection between adolescent development and intervention outcomes, specifically mindfulness-based interventions among at-risk youth in substance use disorder treatment. Dr. Davis has written extensively on the long-term effects of poly-victimization and early childhood trauma on the stress response system and how these experiences influence intervention outcomes and adolescent development. He is also interested in how technology can be boosted to deliver ‘real time’ interventions for at-risk populations and how we can use intensive data collection methods for predictive risk modeling.
