The Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival (APAHF) is a series of events to showcase our history, culture and community. It is a series of events put on by Asian Pacific American Student Assembly (USC APASA) as well as our 23 member organizations, to highlight and raise dialogue on various aspects of what it means to be Asian Pacific American. This year's APAHF theme: "Celebrating Stories" is meant to showcase the different experiences and identities that exist within our community. It is to not only highlight the nuances in APA experiences but also encourage greater cultural understanding within the APA community and among different communities at USC. Given that every individual goes through different walks of life, sharing and celebrating stories-- through various mediums-- is critical to building a more empathetic community.
