DESCRIPTION:Young people often face marginalization\, feeling ignored and e
 xcluded from key decisions\n\nimpacting their lives. This is universal\, b
 ut especially pronounced in conflict settings. Join us to learn how youth\
 n\nworldwide are shifting this narrative by engaging as partners in peace 
 and climate efforts. This workshop is for undergraduate and graduate stude
 nts of all majors passionate about peace\, climate change\, sustainability
 \, and justice. This session will outline the intersectional and intergene
 rational aspects of the Youth\, Peace & Security agenda and provide opport
 unities for students to explore critical pathways for engaging and contrib
 uting to this\n\nglobal agenda. This workshop will be led by Saji Prelis\,
  a world-renowned expert on youth movements who has led some of the most i
 mportant peace movements in the last two decades including the historical 
 UN security council resolutions on youth\, peace and security\, and he wil
 l share lessons from 25+ years of working with youth to shape global agend
 as for change. He will be joined by Dr. Shubha Kumar (Shubha.Kumar@usc.edu
 )\, Associate Professor at USC\, to facilitate the session.\n\n \n\nWhen &
