About this Event
Many international students (and U.S. citizens too!) are wondering what is happening with the U.S. election, and how this might affect their future work and time in America. "U.S. 2020 Election Explained" will be a lively Zoom presentation over this historic moment on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
There will be a substantial Q&A, so please come with your questions and thoughts! Bring your friends, classmates, and apartment-mates, especially those who want to talk politics!
Dr. Eric Liang, our featured speaker, believes learning never stops. He obtained his Ph.D. in aerospace from Stanford, his B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley, and his MBA from that other school. He has had 3 careers so far - in research, IT management, and strategy consulting. He writes about business, technology, politics, and faith, and hosts a radio show on current events.
Worldwide Friends at USC, is sponsoring this special event and aims to welcome internationals as the future leaders they will be, with respect and friendship.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
