DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Office of Academic Programs\, the Undergraduat
 e Symposium for Scholarly and Creative Work provides students with the opp
 ortunity to exhibit and share examples of their significant research and c
 reative work with the university community.\n\nThe 26th annual Undergradua
 te Symposium will be held on Tuesday\, April 15\, 2025 from 11am-2pm in th
 e Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom. \n\n \n\nStudents may present work 
 in a variety of ways\, such as through poster presentations\, art exhibiti
 ons\, and electronic media. All undergraduates are invited to participate 
 and exhibit work in the categories of:\n\nARTS\n\nHUMANITIES\n\nSOCIAL SCI
 ENCES\n\nLIFE SCIENCES\n\nPHYSICAL SCIENCES\, MATH\, & ENGINEERING\n\n \n\
 nThe Undergraduate Symposium culminates with an evening Awards Ceremony on
  Thursday\, April 17\, 2025 in Town and Gown. The ceremony celebrates all 
 undergraduate participants and their faculty sponsors and honors the most 
 outstanding projects. A panel of judges will review submissions and award 
 First Prizes of $1000 and Second Prizes of $500 in the five major academic
  categories*: (1) Arts & Architecture\, (2) Humanities\, (3) Life Sciences
 \, (4) Physical Sciences\, Mathematics & Engineering\, and (5) Social Scie
 nces.\n\n \n\n* Additional recognition may be given for Interdisciplinary 
 or Digital Technology submissions\, plus awards from the USC Schwarzenegge
 r Institute\, USC Office of Sustainability\, and the American Physiologica
 l Society.
