Join the Center on Communication Leadership and Policy (CCLP) for a panel discussion and screening of The YouTube Effect. The YouTube Effect is a 2022 documentary written and directed by Alex Winter. It chronicles the history of YouTube from its earliest days to its current status as an industry giant of communication that is inextricably embedded in our lives. With its focus on the power of algorithms, the cultural impact of media, and the political complications of large tech companies, this documentary ties in directly with CCLP's core mission of sparking dialogue about the future of communication policy.
