Continuing the tradition of dedication to providing a comprehensive and current update in the management of thyroid disease, USC presents The USC Peter A. Singer Thyroid Symposium 2019. Much like the very first symposium organized by Dr. Singer, we seek to forster enthusiasm about thyroid care in an increasingly complex and evolving field.
For this program, forward-looking perspectives are presented illustrating the current state of thyroid medicine and where we are likely to go from here. The clinical landscape of thyroid care is characterized by growing management options and individualized care. Potential options now abound for common conditions such as thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hypothyroidism, and Graves’ disease.
For 2019, we tackle areas of current debate and newer data influencing patient management, including thyroid care in the internet age,TSH receptor antibody testing, comprehensive evaluation of thyroid nodules, molecular testing, and surgery for thyroid cancer. Presentations combining evidence-based medicine and clinical experience, challenging cases, and panel discussions with audience questions, will help inform practice decisions in an era of complex clinical problems.
We hope you enjoy the meeting!
