About this Event
Join the USC Institute for Addiction Science and 4 other participating universities for an enlightening and thought-provoking webinar as we delve into the intriguing realm of non-drug (behavioral, process) addictions. This exclusive event brings together distinguished panelists from prestigious institutions - UCLA, University of Michigan, Ghent University, and Toronto Metropolitan University - to engage in a dynamic discussion on the current state of the science pertaining to the overall prevalence of addictions and concurrent addictions, gambling addiction, sex addiction, food addiction, and substitute addictions. Our panelists will shed light on the neurobiological, psychological, and social/larger scale-environment dimensions of these behaviors drawing from cutting-edge studies and real-world observations as well as discuss potential avenues for prevention and treatment.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
