About this Event
Startup founders face many challenges, from securing investment to creating critical partnerships with industry and in the marketplace. Faculty founders juggle these challenges with the added stresses of running their research groups at the same time. As inventors and entrepreneurs, faculty bring value of their knowledge and reputation to the companies they create. This webinar will examine both the challenges and the strengths that are unique to faculty founders with our panel of esteemed professionals who have tremendous experience working with, and as, faculty founders. Panelists include:
Alex Andrianopoulos (Kairos Ventures)
Alice Chen (Accelerator Life Science Partners)
Susie Harborth (Breakthrough Properties)
Ray Stevens (USC Faculty)
Part of the webinar series “From Discovery to Commercialization: Valuable guidance to enhance the success of your startup” that is being presented by the USC Stevens Center for Innovation and the USC Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors.
