Samantha Cohen's fiction has appeared in Black Clock, Joyland, Entropy, Gulf Coast, and Two Serious Ladies, among other journals. She is also the author of two chapbooks, Gossip from Birds of Lace, and Womb Envy, forthcoming from eohippus labs.

Todd Fredson is the author of the poetry collection, The Crucifix-Blocks (Tebot Bach, 2012) and a translator of Francophone West African literature. He has translated two collections of Josué Guébo’s poetry, Mycountry, tonight (Action Books, 2016) and Think of Lampedusa (forthcoming, University of Nebraska Press, 2017).

Muriel Leung is the author of Bone Confetti (Noemi Press 2016). Her poietry, fiction, and nonfiction can be found or is forthcoming in The Collagist, Fairy Tale Review, Ghost Proposal, Jellyfish Magazine, inter/rupture, and others. She is a recepient of a Kundiman fellowship and is a regular contributor to the Blood-Jet Writing Hour poetry podcast. She is also a Poetry Co-Editor of Apogee Journal. 

Mahtem Shiferraw is a poet and visual artist who grew up in Ethiopia & Eritrea. She is the founder and executive editor of black lioness press & studio, actively working to promote the literary & artistic work of people of color, and in particularly women. She won the Sillerman Prize for African Poets and her full length collection, FUCHSIA, is out now from the University of Nebraska Press.
