The impact of the Donald Trump presidency continues to extend well beyond his four-year tenure. Moreover, former President Trump’s distinctive and unique relationship with both the American Jewish community and Israel continues to inform the religious and cultural identities that define the vast spectrum of our community nationally and abroad. This virtual panel discussion will explore the impact of the Trump presidency, both during and after his tenure, from a broad range of political perspectives. Such topics will include examining former President Trump’s particular impact on Israel-US relations, his special connection to the Orthodox Jewish community, and his complex and uneven relationship with Jews of the left and the right.

This virtual event will feature several contributing authors of Volume 19 of the Casden Annual Review: “The Impact of the Presidency of Donald Trump on American Jewry and Israel” and will be moderated by guest-editor Steven Windmueller.
