On Thursday October 21, 2021 at 10:21am, the University of Southern California will participate in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill. This year millions of people are expected to participate around the world making the ShakeOut the largest disaster drill. The purpose of the ShakeOut is to help people prepare before the next big earthquake and practice how to protect themselves when it happens. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to Drop, Cover, and Hold-On at 10:21am in every classroom, lab, office, residence hall, and public space.
