The Great Buddha+ is the award winning 2017 Taiwanese dark comedy film which won top prize at the 19th Taipei Film Festival, the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Film from Mainland and Taiwan, the Golden Horse Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and has been selected to represent Taiwan for Oscars Best Foreign Language.

The film follows a night security guard named Pickle who works at a Buddha statue factory and his colleague Belly Bottom, a recyclables collector.  Their dull lives suddenly change when they stumble across videos that document promiscuous meetings of their wealthy, politically well-connected boss.
