Brought to you by the Aerospace & Defense Forum.
Four highly experienced executives and professionals will share their prespectives on the future of 3D printing for A&D manufactauring.
The Aerospace and Defense industry is a great example of utilization of 3D Printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing, with a clear value proposition and the ability to create parts that are stronger and lighter than parts made using traditional manufacturing.
During this webinar we will hear from four highly experienced executives and professionals who are going to share their prespectives on the future of 3D printing for A&D manufacturing.
Panelists:
Paul Walsh is Vice President at Ascent Aerospace responsible for growth initiatives in Additive and Defense, and a low cost greenfield plant in Mexico.
Prior to his current role he was CEO of AIP Tooling Group consisting of Coast Composites, Global Tooling Systems, and Odyssey Industries. Mr. Walsh was also President of Coast Composites. Prior to Coast, Mr. Walsh had served in a number of executive positions within major aerospace and materials companies including VP/GM at Goodrich Aerospace, President Zoltek Specialty Carbon Fibers Division, and Program Manager at Hercules Aerospace (now part of Northrop Grumman).
Matt Sand is the co-founder and President of 3DEO, a metal 3D printing company. 3DEO uses its patented printing technology to fabricate precision metal components in high-volume, serial production. 3DEO sells parts, not printers, and is one of the highest volume metal 3D printing parts manufacturers in the world.
Formerly a Communications Officer in the U.S. Air Force, Matt received bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Tulane University and an MBA from UCLA. He is the author of The Agile Startup, published by Wiley & Sons in 2013.
Ivan Madera is the founder and CEO of Morf3D Inc - a thriving AM Solutions Provider within the fast-paced aerospace industry created in 2015. His company’s products have landed on the moon, orbited the earth, and strengthened the designs of customers like Boeing, Raytheon, Northrup Grumman and Collins Aerospace.
Morf3D’s success originates with Ivan’s core values developed over his more than 20 years of experience as a management consulting executive. He believes in empowerment, consistency, strategic visioning, and leading leaders in complex endeavors.
Just as additive parts are built layer-by-layer, transforming from nothing into effective and impressive structures, Ivan’s career has been shaped by his desire for growth. Ivan raised the bar for himself and his colleagues time and again, passionate about leaving a legacy of dynamic improvement.
Gabriel Suppes is Senior Sales Engineer Stratasys & Desktop Metal 3D Printers with Purple Platypus. Gabriel holds a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has been with Purple Platypus since 2013.
Gabe assists our customers in adopting the latest technology from Stratasys, Roland, and Desktop Metal.
He has been involved with capital equipment for over 10 years, including CNC milling and turning machines, giving him a broad understanding of both additive and subtractive applications.
