The USC Schwarzenegger Institute, European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington, D.C. and Outside the Box [Office] invite you to attend a special screening of the LUX Audience Award Winner and 96th Academy Awards Nominee for Best International Feature Film The Teachers' Lounge. 

Before the screening, Walter Goetz, Director of the European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington DC, will kick things off with opening remarks. Then, USC Schwarzenegger Institute’s Allison Kay will dive into the film with LaWanda Toney, Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education, exploring the film’s themes and their connection to the Department’s work.

Following the screening, there will be a pre-recorded Q&A with Director Ilker Çatak and moderated by Alessandro Ago, Executive Director of Film Programming and Special Projects at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
