The Herbert G. Klein Lecture on Civic and Community Leadership was established by the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences in 2006 to honor Herbert Klein's enduring legacy in journalism, public service, and communication. The annual lecture invites distinguished voices to engage with the USC community on topics of civic leadership, political participation, and community activism.
