Christopher Malotte, Sr. Advisor – Demand Side Management Program Strategy, Southern California Edison
In his work at SCE, Chris helps manage the regulatory, policy, and strategy aspects of SCE’s Public Sector demand side management (DSM) programs. Chris’s experience has included developing new customer programs, managing energy efficiency, electric vehicle, and renewables programs, and assessing new technologies’ role in the changing utility landscape.
Chris will talk about his professional activities and experiences, the role of energy in meeting California’s sustainability goals, SCE’s “Clean Power and Electrification Pathway” whitepaper, and engage in Q&A about sustainability careers for students interested in similar paths.
