Each Summer the USC Center for the Political Future provides scholarships to USC students working in political internships in LA, DC, and beyond. These outstanding Trojans have demonstrated excellence in the Classroom and proved themselves as inspiring, change-driving individuals in their communities. This year's private scholarship ceremony at the USC Hotel Teaching Garden on April 20 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. will feature 30+ student honorees who earned cash awards and tuition credits for their outstanding work. 

Students interested in applying can find summer scholarship eligibility requirements on the CPF website. The application window opens in late February,

Scholarships include four different awards: 

  • The Diana Chudacoff Levin Award provides support to outstanding students who would explore the real world of politics through an internship experience.
  • The Kam Kuwata Award for Political Involvement offers an award to students whose academic, political, and civic engagement work have prepared them for the valuable experience of working on a political campaign.
  • The Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Award provides a stipend for a student or students who are pursuing internship opportunities working to promote, social, racial, gender, and political equality in underserved communities. 
  • The Elizabeth Garrett Leadership Award recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated excellence in their academic work, political involvement, and extracurricular endeavors.
