About this Event
The pandemic has taken a toll on faith communities. Congregational leaders have had to manage a massive shift in how ministry is done, all while bringing comfort to members through the loss of loved ones, economic instability, social isolation and other challenges. It is important for leaders to ensure they are well as they embark upon reimagining what their congregation will look like in a post-pandemic world.
The USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture invites congregational leaders to a workshop with Dr. Thema Bryant, a professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University and ordained elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Dr. Thema shares powerful tools and insight to empower congregational leaders to best manage the lingering mental health impact of the pandemic for self as well as the congregation.
This workshop is presented as part of CRCC’s project on Thriving Congregations.
