Reverend Joseph Jehu-Appiah (Pastor Joe), founder and headmaster  of the Mephibosheth Training Center (MTC boarding school for children with disabilities) in Apam, Ghana, will be visiting the Chan Division, and we invite all who are interested to meet him and hear from him during lunch.

For those who may not know, through a strong friendship between Dr. Bonnie Nakasuji and Pastor Joe, the MTC hosted USC Chan students for overseas learning experiences (e.g., externships, fieldwork experiences) from 2005-2020, with in total 296 Chan students spending time with Pastor Joe, his wife Andrea, and all at MTC.  You can read more about the history of this long-standing friendship.

For those who would like to join us for lunch, we do ask for your RSVP by Wednesday, January 14:  https://forms.gle/ettD9sooi7HrJDw3A.  Please note, we are unable to cater lunch, so please bring your own lunch.  We will provide some snacks/refreshments 🙂 .

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
