DESCRIPTION: 
Kick off the 2023–24 year and celebrate the powerful role the arts play in inspiring and connecting our community! This dynamic festival of live performances and interactive experiences is part of the Trojan Welcome Experience for USC students.

The multimedia event will include: 
 Spoken word by Javon Johnson, three-time National Poetry Slam champion and creator of the viral poem “cuz he’s black”
 Live music by Hailey Wild, a USC Thornton student who blends rock, pop, and R&B to create a sound that is uniquely her own
 Bollywood dance challenge with USC Kaufman’s Achinta McDaniel
 Drag performances by USC students Ella MayoRae Oblivion, and Willconique
 An encore screening of the USC School of Dramatic Arts’ performance of the hilarious musical, Urinetown
 Collective painting with Claudia Concha
 After-show dance party with the trailblazing electronic and hip hop DJ duo Urban Assault aka Faust and Shortee
- Actor/poet/comedian Joe Hernandez-Kolski as emcee

 Representatives from USC’s art schools and museums
Photo booth and photo ops
