Inspired by genre-crossing artists such as Maren Morris, Yebba, Lennon Stella, and Chris Stapleton, Sophia Dion likes to call her music alternative country-soul. Since starting off playing in her hometown of Park City, including events at the Sundance Film Festival and local summer concert series, she has played iconic venues in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles. She is currently majoring in Popular Music with an emphasis in Songwriting at USC Thornton as well as recording her album, writing for other artists, and working as a gigging musician and session singer.
