We hope that your semester is off to a great start. We are writing to let you know about the Students of Color and Allies Policy Forum (SCAPF) and hope you'll get involved this year!
SCAPF started in 2014 and is organized by a collective of students from the Sol Price School of Public Policy and Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work
who are dedicated to generating critical discussions on issues of race and social justice.
This annual springtime policy forum creates a space for students at USC, community partners, and community members to come together to discuss these issues. The main goal of SCAPF is to empower people to create change within their respective fields.
It’s that time of the school year where students of color and their allies band together in carving out spaces for equity, diversity, and inclusion. In joining the planning team for SCAPF, you have the opportunity to shape a policy forum that reflects your voice and lifts up pressing topics affecting communities of color today. If you are interested in learning more about our previous events, here are some photos and coverage from previous events in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
