The USC Stage at the LA Times Festival of Books showcases live music and performances from talented artists within the community and beyond. Join us at the heart of campus for a lively celebration of rhythm, creativity, and culture.

Sawyer Rabin is the definition of a multi-hyphenate. As an artist, songwriter, producer, and session musician, he brings a high degree of precision and love for his craft to every project he takes on. Through his love of vulnerable lyrics and ear for catchy melodies, Rabin’s music sits in the middle: a seamless blend of folk, country, and pop. Sawyer is pursuing a degree in Popular Music at the USC Thornton School of Music. He was recognized as the 2024 USC Popular Music MVP by Patrice Rushen and is a first-call keyboardist and guitarist within the Los Angeles music community.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
