The USC Bedrosian Center has partnered with the Red Nation Celebration Institute to amplify the stories, lives, and policy issues of Native Americans. As part of this partnership, USC Bedrosian Center will host several opening ceremonies of the 2019 Red Nation International Film Festival.
Panelists:
Christine La Monte : Producer/La Monte Productions, and former Disney, Universal, Orion marketing executive.
Joanelle Romero : Romero is an American media proprietor, an acclaimed actress in film and television, Award winning director, producer, singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian.
James Tumminia : Emmy-nominated producer and actor, James Tumminia is known for his work producer on Love, Gilda (2018), Melissa & Joey (2010) and 1st Strike (2016).
Grace Moss : Grace Moss is the Director of Talent Development & Inclusion for NBC Entertainment. Grace has been actively involved with numerous organizations, including Asian Pacific Americans @ NBCUniversal, where she serves as a Hub Leader, and Filipino Hollywood Mafia, where she acts as the Co-Chair.
William Jehu Garroutte : William Jehu Garroutte (Cherokee Nation) is a screenwriter in Los Angeles, California. He has written on shows for Lionsgate and ABC, and is an alumni of NBC’s Writers on the Verge program, the ABC/Disney Television Writing Program, and the LA Skinsfest Native American TV Writing Lab.
