The law school admissions resume is one area many applicants glaze over, often neglecting its potential to not only showcase accomplishments, but also one’s personality and strengths. Too often applicants think admissions committees only want to read about “law-related” experience, forgetting that diversity of intellect and experiences are key to reexamining how we interpret the law. Erin Van Dorn, Director of Admissions of USC Gould School of Law, will be sharing her advice from both an admissions and (former) career services perspective. She will focus on how to impress admissions committees and begin thinking about getting your resume ready for the legal job market, by utilizing good form and substance. This event is great for current applicants struggling to clarify their resume narrative for law school applications, or for future applicants seeking a leg up on next year's application cycle.
