Join us on campus or on Zoom for the public launch of USC Shoah Foundation’s new Visual History Archive (VHA) platform. With advanced new search functions and robust project management tools, the new VHA enables scholars, researchers and educators to connect with the 55,000 testimonies of Holocaust and genocide survivors and witnesses in a way that has never been possible until now.
Following remarks by USC President Carol Folt and Finci-Viterbi Executive Director Dr. Robert Williams, this discussion and live demo event will feature a panel discussion moderated by USC Shoah Foundation's Dr. Kori Street, demonstration of the new features, and opportunities to ask questions and learn from testimony.
Along with learning pro tips and gaining insights into how testimony is transforming scholarship, participants will hear from USC students who are using the archive to effect change on campus and beyond.
The VHA redesign, part of the Lee Liberman Visual History Archive Program was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Lee Liberman Foundation, Koret Foundation, Crown Family Philanthropies and others.
