Jeffrey D. Klausner, MD MPH and his research group at the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences manage Proyecto FACIL (https://facil.usc.edu/), which is an implementation science research study funded by the California HIV/AIDS Research Program. The project assesses the California Department of Public Health’s PrEP Assistance Program (PrEP-AP) and the ways in which lower income Latinx folx in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire can access pre-exposure prophylaxis offered via telemedicine, otherwise known as telePrEP.

We are approaching the phase in our study where we will be compiling interviews and focus groups into a report that we will share with you and discuss best practices for improving the enrollment process for the Latinx MSM/trans community in a Stakeholder Review Board meeting. We are looking for PrEP advocates and researchers to attend the meeting.

The Stakeholder Review Board Meeting will be on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 from 9:30am-3pm. The meeting will take place at USC's Soto Building located at 1845 N. Soto Street, Los Angeles, CA 90032. Parking and lunch will be provided. We will implement COVID-19 safety procedures per USC guidelines. Please contact us immediately if you have questions or concerns about attending an in-person meeting.
