The Pro Football Hall of Fame is proud to offer a brand-new series for learners in high school, college and beyond! “Before the Snap” gives an insight to professional careers in and around the NFL, while giving a live audience the opportunity to interact with an industry expert. On Friday, February 19th, 2021 at 12:00pm ET special guest Susanna Nickell will be on hand to speak on her career, what she does in his current position and much more!!

"Susanna Nickell is entering her ninth NFL season and sixth with the Titans in 2019. Prior to her role with the Titans, she spent two seasons as corporate communications manager with the Washington Redskins after interning with the team during its NFC East championship season in 2012. Nickell is responsible for all alumni programming, as well as the planning and execution of community relations events and initiatives. In her role with the Redskins, Nickell worked closely with the team's community relations department to promote its events and generate positive media coverage outside the traditional scope of football. Other responsibilities included assisting with the implementation of the league's public relations policies, coordinating strategic communication plans, credentialing, press box staff supervision and coverage recaps, and serving as a liaison between the organization and the media. Prior to entering the NFL, Nickell spent a semester as an intern with Octagon, a global sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing and talent representation agency. Nickell also served as a community relations intern for D.C. United of Major League Soccer. In 2012, Nickell received her undergraduate degree in sports management with a minor in business administration from the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, she worked in the football team's recruiting department, as well as working two years with Pat Summitt and the women's basketball program. Nickell graduated from Georgetown University with a master's degree in sports industry management in 2013.
Nickell is a native of Franklin, Tennessee."
