Join us for our Power Pan Dulce Speaker Series presents Mental Health in the Latinx Community feat. USC’s Dr. Karina Ramos! This Pan Dulce will empower students in their leadership, cultural identity, career path & wellness. This is the one you have been waiting for to get all of your questions answered by USC staff member Karina Ramos, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at the USC Engemann Student Health Center, Keck School of Medicine.

• Professional interests: grief/loss, adjustment concerns; identity development; anxiety, depression; relationship issues; working with marginalized groups/identities; issues related to the educational experiences and mental health well-being of undocumented students; first-generation college students.
• What I would tell my college self: I would tell my college self that I am more resilient then I think, and that no matter how stressed or worried I feel about something, things will work out in the end. I would also tell myself that life is easier when I seek support from others, whether that be mentors, professors, family, friends, or other college staff.
