About this Event
Californians will be asked to cast their votes for 10 separate ballot propositions on Nov. 5. They range from proposals for upgrading schools to abolishing involuntary servitude for criminals. It’s a lot to consider. To help you make sense of all 10, we’ve assembled a panel of some of the state’s leading political experts. They’ll summarize the pros and cons of each proposition and take written questions from the virtual audience so that you can make an informed choice come Nov. 5.
California has long been the proving ground for what become national politics and policies. This year will be no exception as Golden State voters head to the polls to weigh in not only on who occupies the White House and legislative seats but also on state and local ballot initiatives. This series of webinars is hosted by Mark Baldassare, the state’s leading pollster and Senior Fellow at the USC Price School’s Bedrosian Center on Governance, and features experts from academia, the government, private sector and not-for-profits.
