As a student, faculty, affiliate of USC, as people - we all are undeniably living in proximity to social injustices perpetuated by institutions. Our job, no matter what our identity, is to listen to the experiences of those disadvantaged under these institutions
Join three brilliant panelists that have traversed predominantly white institutions (academic and non-academic) to learn what is in their toolkit and how they define success.
ABOUT THE PANELISTS:
Marie (she/her) received her Bachelors in English and Philosophy from Scripps College and her Masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in student access and success. She has designed and facilitated inclusive academic programs for students at the University of Florida, University of Michigan, and the University of Washington.
Tigist received her Bachelors in Psychology from Washington State University and is currently completing her Masters in Business Administration there as well. She is an immigrant from Ethiopia and understands firsthand the struggles of being a first generation college student.
Catalina received her Bachelors in Anthropology and Diversity & Education from the University of Washington and her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University.
